Holy Ghost New Life Int’l Church Inc by the grace of God Almighty is founded under the apostolic and episcopal visionary leadership of Dr. Ozioma Festus Ozoemena (Ph.D), as the Presiding Bishop and the General Overseer. He is a Nigerian citizen, from Omogho Community in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Bishop Festus Ozioma Ozoemena accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour in 1987 at Lagos, Nigeria and experienced the saving grace of God. He had his Christian upbringing under the tutelage and mentorship of several men of God between 1987 and 1990 when he served a Christian worker and exhorter both in Lagos and Anambra States of Nigeria.

Divine call of Dr. Festus Ozioma became evidently obvious in 1991 when he submitted to divine instructions and his enrollment into Holy Ghost Theological Seminary for pastoral training. Before his graduation in 1994 with Diploma in Theology, he had been posted to an outstation in Nawfija town in Orumba South local government in Anambra State as a local Pastor.

The ministerial journey of Bishop Ozioma Festus Ozoemena actually started in October 1991 when he wasl posted to pastor a local church in a village called Nawfija. He rose through the ministerial ranks to district pastor in 2001, having been ordained as Reverend in 1996.

He became a National Presbyter in 2005 and subsequently elected into the bishopric in 2006 and was consecrated a Bishop in November 2016. Bishop Dr. Ozoemena has pastored churches in some States of Nigeria, which included Anambra, Lagos, Port Harcourt Rivers State, etc. He lectured in Theological Seminary well over 24 years as well as Rectorship position. Right Reverend Dr. Ozioma Ozoemena is multi- gifted by God. He has pioneered a lot of ministerial works, headed many Christian bodies and organizations in Nigeria and is involved in many international ministerial programs, fellowships and associations. God’s Apostle, Bishop Dr. Festus Ozioma Ozoemena was instructed by God to start a new work in 2019, having served faithfully under Shepherd for over 29 years in various capacities.

Moreover, God saddled him with specific assignment and commission which birthed HOLY GHOST NEW LIFE INTERNATIONAL CHURCH INC, the church was incorporated with the Federal Government of Nigeria as an International Church in line with the Laws Establishing Churches in Nigera.Bishop Festus Ozoemena possesses the following academic, ministerial trainings and qualifications, which included, Diploma in Theology (1994) Holy Ghost Theological Seminary, Ndiowu, Association of Arts Degree in Bible (1997), All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Int’l. Benin-City, Bachelor of Arts in Theology (Christian Education) (2000) Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (2005)University of Jos, Advance Diploma in Leadership and Church Planting (2003) Agape in Africa Ministerial Institute Zambia and South Africa, PhD in Theology (2009) St. Thomas a Becket Institute and University, Canterbury, England, Masters of Arts in Religion and Society (2013) Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and PhD in Religion and Society, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria among other professional and ministerial courses.

He is a Chartered Mediator and Conciliator (2012) and a member, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria(ICMC) Abuja. He is also a member of Association of Christian Theologians (ACTS), and many others. Rt. Revd. Dr. Festus Ozioma Ozoemena, is an Ordained Clergy with over thirty years in God’s Vine Yard.

He is the Author of; Steps to Greatness: Biblical Perspective, Imperativenes of Peaceful Coexistence, Leadership Succession: Biblical Model (Unpublished) and other Articles, Journals and Papers.

He is a Peace Advocate of the International repute and currently the International Coordinator, United Nations- Peace and Positive Living Awareness Centre (UN-PEPOLAC), Nigeria and the Chairman Board of Trustees. He holds the Justice for Peace (JP), Ambassador for World Peace (AMBP) and Mayor for World Peace (MP), amongst other awards and recognitions.

He is widely traveled and a Preacher at conventions, conferences, revival meetings, workshops and seminars. He is a Community Leader, having served and contributed to the developments of his people and others with many merit awards. Bishop Ozoemena is a Jerusalem Pilgrim(JP), with the tour of the holy land Israel in 2010/2011.

He is married to Rev. Mrs. Happiness C. Ozoemena, a Medical Laboratory Scientist with a blessed family and wonderful children.
